God

There is one God, Creator of heaven, earth, and all life (Genesis 1:1). He formed time, space, and matter in the opening line of the Bible, existing beyond His creation, He is too vast for the heavens to contain (Psalm 90:2). He reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14), united as one (Deuteronomy 6:4). God reveals Himself through His Word, through creation’s beauty (Psalm 19:1; Romans 1:20), and above all, Jesus, who became flesh and died to reconcile us (Hebrews 9:14; Genesis 1:26-27; 3:22).

Jesus

Jesus is God manifested in the flesh. He was born of a virgin. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory, both fully God and fully human, where he is seated at the right hand of God and will again return to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, is not merely oil, water, fire, or wind as he is described in the word, but a divine person, not a force as some believe (Hebrews 2:4). He grants believers new life, indwells them permanently, and sanctifies them to reflect Christ (Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:16). Through Him, God equips His people with diverse spiritual gifts for the church’s mission, unity, and growth, affirming the resurrection and the Gospel’s power (1 Corinthians 12:1-31; 14:1-40; 1 Peter 4:10). Believers are urged to seek them earnestly, always using them in alignment with God’s Word (1 Timothy 4:14; 2 Timothy 1:6-7).

THE BIBLE

The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the divine source of truth. Because it is inspired by God; it is truth without any mixture of error. Written by around 40 authors under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit over 1500 years, the Bible has at least three hundred prophecies that Jesus fulfilled at his first coming 2000 years ago but there are over 1800 prophecies concerning his second coming.

RESURRECTION

Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. In addition, both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; they that are saved to the resurrection of life and they that are lost will perish.

THE CHURCH

The church is the Body of Christ, a local community of born again believers, unified through faith in Christ Jesus. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands. The church also seeks to bring the Good News to the world. Every person is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. The church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ. The church is not a building, it is people. People meet in buildings that are sanctified or set apart for worship, for people and ultimately for the glory of God.

HUMAN BEINGS

People are made in the image of God and to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God's creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us have been marred by sin. This sin has separated us from God and caused many problems in our lives. We were saved, we’re being saved and we will be saved. It’s a constant process to become more like Jesus and Jesus, when teaching us how to pray taught us that we are to let his kingdom come and his will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. He teaches us to forgive as we are forgiven, he teaches us to ask God for things like “deliver us from temptation and from the evil one” - all of this indicates an active, alive relationship with God and to continually keep overcoming.

SALVATION
Why Do I Need to Be Saved?
Because everyone sins (Romans 3:23), we are born with it (Psalm 51:5) and we choose it (Ecclesiastes 7:20; 1 John 1:8). Sin separates us from God, leading to death.
What am I being saved from?
Death and separation from God. The wages of sin is death. Jesus entered death and defeated it by rising again.
How Did God Provide Salvation?
Adam sinned in the garden of Eden, God had told him the consequences of his actions would lead to death and he did it anyway and died after being cut off from the tree of life. God promised a saviour then and there, and Jesus, who was perfect and sinless died so that you may live. He defeated death by rising again and at the final resurrection - all people who have ever lived, those that have had faith in him will continue to eternal life. Those that rejected God in this life will experience what the Bible calls the second death.
How Can I Be Saved?
God offers salvation as a gift. To receive it:
  1. Believe in Jesus
Trust Jesus as your Saviour (Acts 16:31; John 3:16). He’s the only way (John 14:6).
  2. Repent of Sins
Turn from sin, seeking God’s forgiveness (Acts 3:19; Revelation 2:5).
  3. Receive the Holy Spirit and Be Baptised
Invite the Holy Spirit and be baptised to show faith (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-4).
The Promise
Through believing in Jesus, repenting to the Father, and receiving the Holy Spirit, Jesus moves you immediately from death to eternal life.
THE SECOND COMING

Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures. 1845 prophetic words speak to Jesus’ second coming.

MATTHEW 24:30, 26:63-64; ACTS 1:9-11; I THESSALONIANS 4:15-17;  2 THESSALONIANS 1:7-8; REVELATION 1:7

ETERNITY
Your eternal destiny hinges on one choice: Choose God and live forever. Reject God and die the second death. He will raise everyone on the last day and judge every person for how they have lived their life - a life that is a gift from God. The good news of the gospel is that you can live forever in union with God if you accept his gift of salvation. God will make all things new. He will bring a re-genesis to Earth and it will be incredible. No eye has seen, no ear has heard and no mind can conceive what God has prepared for those that love him. No sin, no death, no pain, no suffering. A perfect creation once again. Heaven comes to Earth and God chooses to dwell with his people here. The book of Revelation says that hell and death and all who choose to reject God will be judged and cast into a lake of fire that is the second death. The death of death.
separation from God through sin or connection with Him through salvation. Separation is hell—eternal death (Revelation 20:15; Romans 6:23). Connection is eternal life, united with God (John 3:16).
For believers, loving Jesus wholeheartedly and growing in His likeness, Earth—with its wars, pollution, and depravity—is the closest they’ll come to hell (Romans 8:17-18). For those rejecting God, either passively or with hatred, Earth—with its breathtaking sunrises, starry skies, newborn cries, and majestic landscapes—is the nearest they’ll get to heaven (1 Corinthians 2:7-9). Though scarred, Earth reflects its Creator’s beauty. Hell, however, is utterly devoid of God’s creation, a crushing second death (Revelation 20:15). Yet, some scorn the simple act of believing in Jesus to escape it (John 14:17).
REPENTANCE

Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We are instructed to keep seeking forgiveness as we sin and fall short and to live a life fully surrendered to God, dying to self daily.

ACTS 2:21, 38, 3:19; 1 JOHN 1:9

HOLY COMMUNION

Holy Communion is a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s body that was broken and His blood that was shed for the forgiveness of sins. Communion is “eating the story” of salvation. From the passover meal in Egypt where a lamb was slain for the sins of the people to Jesus, the Lamb of God, dying on a cross for our sins, we remember this sacrifice every time we come together. Adam and Eve sinned through the act of eating and we remember what Jesus did on the cross to save us from sin through eating and drinking.

MATTHEW 26:26-29; 1 CORINTHIANS 10:16, 11:23-25

WATER BAPTISM
Baptism by full immersion in the name of Jesus Christ is a vital act of obedience, uniting believers with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12). It publicly declares faith, clothing the believer in Christ (Galatians 3:27). While the thief on the cross was saved without baptism, that shows that God in his grace can move in circumstances where people can't be baptised but scripture commands all believers to repent and be baptised. This sacred step strengthens their walk with Christ. We don't baptise babies because they can't repent and identify with Christs death and resurrection and they haven't reached an age where they can make that decision for themselves, we dedicate them to the Lord as in 1 Samuel 1.
